The 2023 model year offers big changes for the Chevy Colorado. A redesigned body gives this vehicle a sleeker, more updated appeal, new engine options create more variety for drivers, and a refreshed interior design provides an overall comfortable experience to all sitting inside the cabin.
This model will also continue to offer rear- and four-wheel drive though it will only be available as a crew cab with a short five-foot bed.
Performance
Every 2023 Colorado model is powered by a turbocharged 2.7-liter inline-four-cylinder engine attached to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Though the amount of power this vehicle can output will be determined by the trim level.
WT and LT models, for example, come standard with 237 horsepower and 259 pounds of torque. While better-equipped models like Z71 and Trail Boss (using the same engine) will be able to output 301 horsepower and 390 pounds of torque. And the high-end ZR2 can outperform them all, as it can deliver 310 horsepower and 430 pounds of torque.
The Colorado also offers the most towing out of any midsize model on the market, as it has a max pull weight of 7,700 pounds.
Technology
The 2023 Chevy Colorado is superior to its predecessors in every way. Inside the cabin, a new digital gauge cluster is available, as is an 11.3-inch infotainment screen and a new steering wheel to round out its updates.
